Summer · 2026
"This summer, we set sail.
Welcome aboard."
Sail On
We'll be stopping in four ports, according to plan.
Four great works to be completed before the summer ends.
Well I can't do this in my skivvies. I'll be hand-sewing a complete pirate wardrobe from scratch — period-accurate shirts, breeches, waistcoats, and whatever other garments an 18th-century seafarer might need to cut a formidable figure on the open water.
There's a chance that you may also be able to acquire your provisions from The Slop Chest.
Articles of the Wardrobe
A pirate without a vessel is merely a woman with a sword. This summer I will personally build a ship — or at the very least, a seaworthy vessel. Fear not, mateys, I have a plan for this one.
The build will be accompanied by learning celestial navigation, knot-tying, and several new seafaring skills. And a pelagic birding trip, obviously.
Skills to Master
Prepare for a full-scale treasure hunt party for my friends — hand-drawn maps, cryptic riddles, buried bounty, period-accurate provisions, and all the drama a proper pirate adventure requires.
Choose your crew carefully. Develop a strategy. But be ready to throw it out the window when the journey goes sideways.
Looking for enthusiastic swabbies. Send a missary if you'd like to come aboard.
The Hunt Includes
If you've been aboard with me before, you know that I take great merriment in hollering — shanties, ballads, and whatever other maritime music the ocean demands of me.
Sea shanty nights at local taverns will provide research. At the end of the summer, we will be the most demanded group of bards New England has ever known.
Tracklist TBD
Beyond the four main ports, the summer will be full of expeditions, experiments, and adventures.
